HivemindOS manual

Hyperliquid Trading

HivemindOS can trade Hyperliquid spot and perpetual futures from your own EVM wallet’s Hyperliquid account, with a preview, a confirmation, and your wallet limits around every action.

Perps are leveraged and can be liquidated, and both spot and perps can move fast. Treat them as active trading, not passive holdings.

What you can do

  • Perps: open longs or shorts, and close or shrink a position with reduce-only orders.
  • Spot: buy or sell supported spot markets from the same wallet.
  • Order types: market, limit, trigger (take-profit and stop-loss), and TWAP.
  • Manage orders: check status, cancel, modify, or set up cancel-all protection when the account qualifies.
  • Account: set leverage, add or remove isolated margin, and refresh balances, positions, orders, fills, and fees.
  • Move funds: transfer USDC between spot and perps, send USDC or spot assets on Hyperliquid, or withdraw USDC.

Get started

  1. Pick an EVM wallet in HivemindOS that can sign transactions.
  2. Fund its Hyperliquid account. If your USDC is elsewhere, deposit or bridge it in first. Hyperliquid currently warns that deposits under 5 USDC are not credited, and withdrawals usually take a few minutes.
  3. Make sure the wallet’s trade and payment limits are high enough for what you plan to do.
  4. Before your first eligible order, approve the HivemindOS builder fee once. After that, the builder code is attached automatically; you never paste one.

If the wallet isn’t funded, isn’t approved, or is over its limits, HivemindOS stops and tells you what’s missing.

Whose money is used

Local Hyperliquid Your selected HivemindOS EVM wallet’s own Hyperliquid account Direct trading under HivemindOS limits
Bankr Hyperliquid Bankr’s connected trading wallet Bankr-managed workflows

Local Hyperliquid never uses HivemindOS funds, Bankr’s wallet, or anyone else’s money. The app shows the funding source before you confirm.

The builder fee

Official HivemindOS builds earn a small fee on eligible local Hyperliquid fills:

Fee Meaning
0.5 bps 0.005% of filled notional
Filled volume HivemindOS builder fee
$1,000 $0.05
$10,000 $0.50
$100,000 $5.00
  • It is separate from Hyperliquid’s own trading fees, funding, and slippage.
  • Approving it does not let HivemindOS use your funds, open trades, or withdraw. It only lets Hyperliquid pay the approved fee on fills HivemindOS sends for you.
  • If the official fee changes, you are asked to approve again. You can revoke the approval in Hyperliquid at any time.
  • Hyperliquid decides which fills are eligible. Builder fees apply normally to perps; some spot fills may be treated differently.
  • Self-hosted or forked builds may use a different fee and should disclose it.

Costs and risks

  • Trading fees are charged by Hyperliquid when orders fill.
  • Funding applies to perps and can be a cost or a credit.
  • Slippage can happen on market orders; set a slippage guard.
  • Liquidation can happen if a perp account runs short of margin.

HivemindOS can preview and limit what it sends, but once a position exists, price moves, funding, and liquidation follow Hyperliquid’s rules.

Limits Hyperliquid enforces

Hyperliquid makes the final call and may refuse an action if:

  • an order is below the market’s minimum order value;
  • a TWAP is smaller than its larger minimum size;
  • the account lacks margin, or the price or size doesn’t fit the market’s rules;
  • cancel-all protection needs more trading history on the account.

Deposits and withdrawals follow Hyperliquid’s bridge timing. If Hyperliquid refuses an action, HivemindOS shows the reason.

Replay a practice book

If you practiced in Alpaca paper crypto, HivemindOS can save those positions as a target and prepare the Hyperliquid orders needed to match it. Replay only places the missing or reducing orders it can map, leaves unsupported assets for you to decide, and still needs your confirmation and the usual fee, cap, and budget checks. See Shared practice book.

Safety

  • You get a quote before placing an order, and you confirm before anything is signed.
  • Builder-fee approval, orders, cancels, account changes, transfers, withdrawals, and TWAPs each have their own confirmation.
  • Wallet max trade and max payment limits apply, plus daily and monthly budgets for new risk or moved funds.
  • A frozen company stops trades for its active Work Board tasks.
  • Personal wallets never auto-spend; agent wallets act only within their limits.

Ask an agent

  • “Show my Hyperliquid status.”
  • “Quote a $25 ETH long.”
  • “Buy $25 of HYPE spot.”
  • “Place a stop loss on my BTC position.”
  • “Set BTC leverage to 3x.”
  • “Move $10 from spot to perps.”
  • “Withdraw $10 USDC from Hyperliquid.”
  • “Place a $50 TWAP on ETH.”

The agent shows a review and asks for the matching confirmation first. Dashboard, chat, and coding agents all share the same limits.
